beautiful Christmas carol singing evening.
The
Sri Lanka
Christian Association invites you to its
22nd Annual Christmas Carol
Service on Sunday 7th December 2008 at
6:30pm at the Kensington United Reformed Church at Allen Street, London W8,
which is just off High Street Kensington W8.
The Sri Lanka Christian
Association (SLCA)
is a charity with a wide range of humanitarian
projects. The charity has educated many children giving them a better future. It
has dedicated itself to 22 years of humanitarian work hosting very unique and
diverse fundraising events bringing people together to help those who go hungry,
ill, disabled and unloved, etc. The charity's Brail library is enjoyed by
thousands of blind people of all faiths, creed, classes of society and
nationality.
The Christmas carol eveningis an
opportunity for generous members of the local and the wider community to learn more about the
charity and make donations to the
charity's humanitarian fundwhich helps to deliver many of the charity's
projects including the following:-
Feed 50, 000 families, the Aged, Orphans and the Sick
New Projects - A poultry farm for 6
families affected by the Tsunami and sufferers of Leprosy
"Our Fathers home" - a home for
mentally handicapped men and women
Support Home for boys with learning
difficulties
Projects to help Cancer Families,
Leprosy families, Drug Victims and their families, the Blind, scholarships for
university students, and support orphanages.
Gifts, stationary and school books to
thousands of orphaned children.
Contribution of support to over 20
charities in Sri Lanka.

Your donations will help SLCA transfer
abandoned orphans from a life of hunger, disease and sickness in filthy slums to

general care and attention to them.

education, the only way to free them from their generational poverty cycle and
